Angel Tighe

Angel is a Forensic Autopsy Technician at the DeKalb County Medical Examiner's Office. She graduated from the University of West Georgia in May of 2024. Upon graduation, she received a Bachelor of Science in Criminology (with a Minor in Biology), as well as a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies under the Forensic Science & Investigations pathway. In addition, she also received a certificate in Forensic Science. Since a young age, she’s had a passion for forensic science and a deep desire to work in the field. During her academic career, she interned with a local police department’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit, where she gained hands-on experience and fell deeper in love with forensics. She is extremely grateful to be working for Forensic Medicine Associates and for the family & friends she has gained as well. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her mom, throwing darts, kayaking, shooting pool, geocaching, going to concerts, playing bingo (it’s for everybody!), and doing anything outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her fur babies, which include: two crazy labs (Booger & Neeble), a feisty chihuahua (Tater), and two fluffy chickens (Auburn & CutiePie).
