Dr. Bruce Wainer

Dr. Bruce Harland Wainer, excelled academically from an early age, graduating with honors from Washington and Jefferson College in 1969 before obtaining his Ph.D. and M.D. from the University of Chicago. Throughout his career, Wainer has held prominent positions, including Professor and Chairman of Pathology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also held positions at the University of Chicago and contributed significantly to forensic neuropathology across various states. His research in neuropathology, particularly in opiate narcotic analgesics and gene mutations associated with dystonia syndrome, earned him widespread recognition. Dr. Wainer has made significant contributions to neuropathology, neuroscience, and forensic science. He has over 100 publications in the medical literature.
