Dustin Grossman is a dedicated forensic technician based in Dekalb County GA. He completed his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Georgia State University in 2020. In 2023, he earned a master’s degree in Biology from the same institution, where he conducted significant research in molecular neuroimmunology. Before pursuing his advanced degrees, Dustin trained at Grady EMS Academy, becoming an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-A) in 2018. He then worked at American Medical Response, providing critical pre-hospital care as part of an ALS team. Dustin's research experience is extensive. He worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Georgia State University’s Neuroscience Institute, completing an honor’s thesis on TRIAD3A/RNF216 in toll-like receptor signaling pathways. He also participated in the Gates Summer Internship Program at Colorado University's Anschutz Medical Campus, where he helped develop a live cell dedifferentiation assay for adult cardiac myocytes.
Currently, Dustin is a full-time forensic technician. His role involves assisting in evisceration procedures, maintaining detailed records of decedent information, and ensuring accurate documentation within the database at the DeKalb Medical Examiner’s Office.
