Rhiannon Webb, BS is a 2021 alumna of the University of South Florida where she majored in forensic studies and justice with a minor in biology. Before onboarding to Forensic Medicine Associates (FMA), she was employed as a histology technician full-time at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where she practiced a wide range of high-complexity histopathologic processes, like microtomy, cryotomy, gross dissection, as well as histologic support in fine needle aspiration and diagnostic radiology procedures . Rhiannon is presently employed as a forensic autopsy technician via FMA at DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s Office (DCMEO), where she collects forensic evidence, meticulously conducts autopsies, procures biological specimens for ancillary examination, and documents cases with an array of instrumentation from digital photography to radiographs. She is eternally seeking new opportunities to serve the Atlanta Metropolitan community, and often succeeds by addressing the public at DCMEO’s many outreach events. Rhiannon’s academic focus includes histopathology, autopsy pathology, and a newfound passion for forensic anthropology. In the wild, Rhiannon is a mother to a cat named Moon Pie and a myriad of house plants. When she is not caring for the living or the deceased, Rhiannon can either be found hitting the bag at her local boxing gym, or at the thrift store with an almond milk latte in hand.
